Introduction
Aug. 13th, 2025 02:09 pmHey! I'm all essayed out for a while, but I thought I might get an introductions tag started so this community can slowly gain in activity, especially in advance of my discussion panel tomorrow evening.
For those who don't know me, my name is Julian Solander, of the system of Wonderbeasts. I'm the guy who wrote the conceptfolk essay (well, as an instance of me named Daystar--it's complicated). You can find that essay on our Dreamwidth profile (or here: gossamer-musings.dreamwidth.org/3148.html). I will probably be the only one of my system posting here, since it's my thing, but you may see Mazarin's contributions from time to time too.
A little about me: Conceptuality is pretty much at the core of all my alterhumanity, and at the core of me in general. I am a dragon and a storyteller. My keystone is illumination, which encompasses both my draconity and my drive as a storyteller. I love to read and write, naturally, I suppose; I sculpt when I can, and I'm fascinated by palaeolithic archaeology, something I'm considering studying at university. I'm also very passionate about (leftwing) politics, and volunteer a lot of my time for that. that extends to an interest in ethics and metaphysical philosophy.
I'm really hoping we can have some interesting discussions here!
